Story behind the song
Taking a cue from something Bob Dylan said, I selected a bunch of random but interesting phrases collected by my wife and strung them together.
Lyrics
V1 So I abandoned my ambitious impressions I questioned the wisdom of fear Demanding the return of reason That grows smaller as it grows near V2 Swimming in diminishing circles My ecstasy of influence runs dry entangled struggles of light and dark Not apparent to the naked eye CH A perfect sunny sunday morning a stationary life in quiet places theres a minor altercation with assumption That brighter days bring brighter faces V3 Desperately seeking celebration I'm reminded to return to flow Sheltering in delicious oblivion willing desperate music to grow V4 Collections of collateral damage The integrity of fallen trees details of dirty little secrets forbidden pleasures fall to their knees CH x2 A perfect sunny sunday morning a stationary life in quiet places theres a minor altercation with assumption That brighter days bring brighter faces A perfect sunny sunday morning a stationary life in quiet places there's a minor altercation with assumption That brighter days bring brighter faces

great track, lyrics (cool idea btw), vocals and all in all a really cool song, dig the whole vibe of this! yeah, Bowie did a lot of what he called 'cut and paste' re; lyrics (a lot of the song 'Candidate' is just that)
